Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our drone photography and videography services in Atlanta.

Are your drone pilots FAA certified?

Yes. All of our pilots hold FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificates, which is the federal certification required to fly drones commercially in the United States. We are also fully insured and bonded for every flight.

What areas do you serve?

We are based in Atlanta and serve the entire metro Atlanta area, including surrounding counties and cities throughout Georgia. We are available for travel to other locations — contact us to discuss your project.

What types of projects do you work on?

We provide aerial photography and videography for real estate listings, commercial properties, construction progress documentation, corporate events, weddings, concerts, land surveys, apartment complexes, shopping centers, industrial sites, government facilities, and more. If it can be captured from the air, we can do it.

Do I need to be on site during the shoot?

No. Our pilots are experienced professionals who can complete the shoot independently. You are welcome to be on site if you prefer, but it is not required. We will coordinate access and any specific shot requirements with you in advance.

How long does a typical drone shoot take?

Most shoots take between 30 minutes and 2 hours on site, depending on the size of the property and the scope of the project. Larger properties or projects requiring multiple angles, altitudes, or video sequences may take longer.

What is the turnaround time for receiving my photos and video?

Edited photos are typically delivered within 24 to 48 hours. Video projects that require editing, color grading, or post-production work are usually delivered within 3 to 5 business days. Rush delivery is available upon request.

How will I receive my files?

We deliver your final files digitally through a secure download link. Photos are delivered as high-resolution JPEGs. Video is delivered in MP4 format at 4K resolution. RAW files are available upon request.

What happens if the weather is bad on the scheduled shoot day?

Safety is our top priority. Drones cannot fly safely in rain, high winds, or severe weather. If conditions are unfavorable, we will reschedule your shoot at no additional charge. We monitor weather forecasts closely and will communicate with you as early as possible if a reschedule is needed.

Can you fly near airports or in restricted airspace?

Many areas near airports and in controlled airspace require FAA authorization before flying. We handle all necessary airspace authorizations, including LAANC approvals, so you do not need to worry about the regulatory side. Some locations may require additional lead time for authorization, and a small number of areas have permanent flight restrictions.

How high can the drone fly?

FAA regulations allow commercial drones to fly up to 400 feet above ground level. This altitude is sufficient to capture wide area views of large properties, construction sites, and event venues. For most real estate and commercial projects, we fly between 100 and 300 feet to get the best combination of detail and perspective.

Do you carry insurance?

Yes. We carry commercial drone liability insurance that covers our aerial operations. We can provide a certificate of insurance and name your organization or property owner as an additional insured party upon request.

Who owns the photos and video after the shoot?

You do. Once the project is delivered and paid for, you receive full usage rights to all photos and video. You are free to use the content for marketing, listings, social media, websites, print materials, or any other purpose.

Can drone photography help sell real estate faster?

Yes. Studies consistently show that listings with aerial photography receive significantly more views and engagement than those with ground-level photos only. Aerial imagery gives potential buyers a complete picture of the property, the lot, the surrounding neighborhood, and nearby amenities — details that ground photos simply cannot convey.

What equipment do you use?

We fly professional-grade DJI drones equipped with high-resolution cameras capable of shooting 4K video and 20+ megapixel still photos. Our equipment includes gimbal-stabilized cameras for smooth, cinematic footage even in light wind.

Can you capture both photos and video in the same session?

Absolutely. Most of our clients request both aerial photos and video in a single session. This is the most efficient and cost-effective approach since we are already on site with all the necessary equipment.

Do you offer interior photography or just aerial?

Our primary specialty is aerial drone photography and videography. Contact us to discuss your full project needs and we can advise on the best approach.

How do I book a drone photography session?

Contact us through the form on our website, call us at 770-847-0817, or send us an email. We will discuss your project requirements, provide a quote, and schedule a date that works for you.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand that plans change. We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Weather-related cancellations and reschedules are always free of charge.
